Delta Tips: User Authentication

When connecting to a spectrometer, you can type the user name or select it from the list of users after pressing the blue triangle. However, if the Delta user name is identical to the current Windows user name, there is a way to load the user name with a single click. In addition to this simple trick, if the Delta user name is identical to the Delta password, it can be copied from the Name input box to the Password input box.

① Click the button in the Authentication window to load the user name.

② Place the cursor inside the Name input box, press the right mouse button and drag & drop ‘delta’ to the Password input box.

③ Click either the [Connect] or [Own] button to connect to the spectrometer.
