Clinical Chemistry Analyzer (CA)

The Clinical Biochemistry Analyzer is an instrument that uses the pale yellow supernatant portion (serum) of a centrifuged blood sample or a urine sample, and induces reactions using reagents to measure various components, such as sugar, cholesterol, protein, enzyme, etc. Today, it can measure not only general biochemical items, but also a wide range of other fields such as immune serum, tumor markers, and some items in coagulation tests, and which has a large weight in sample testing.
In Japan today, health awareness is increasing year after year with the aging population, low birthrate and rising medical costs. Above all, blood testing is not only used to confirm diseases and as a means of health check. But in recent years, a system has emerged that allows individuals to easily obtain blood test data by self-collecting blood at home and sending it by mail, so that they can manage their health without going to a hospital.
