This flow cell is for real-time monitoring of chemical reactions by NMR. MICCS has 3 injection ports and 1 exhaust port, thus 3 reagent solutions can be injected by independent syringe pumps. The reagents react within the cell, and thus it is possible to measure by NMR intermediates which have a short lifetime. The MICCS cell is inserted into a normal 5 mm o.d. NMR sample tube, and is used with any appropriate standard 5 mm NMR probe, no modifications are necessary.
