Introduction to solid-state NMR: half-integer quadrupolar nuclei
Release Date: 2023/05/17
This is an introductory seminar on solid-state NMR especially focusing on half-integer quadrupolar nuclei including 11B, 23Na, 27Al, etc.
First, we will briefly discuss what is half-integer quadrupolar nuclei and their characteristic properties.
Next, we focus on experimental aspects including hard pulse and soft pulse.
Finally, sensitivity enhancement methods will be introduced.
This seminar will be held on the web. You can participate not only from your PC, but also from your smartphone or tablet, as long as you have access to the web. We look forward to your participation.
By attending this webinar you will learn…
What is half-integer quadrupolar nuclei and how to find whether the nuclei of interest is.
How the NMR spectra of half-integer quadrupolar nuclei looks and the brief theory behind.
Response to rf irradiation. Nutation curve.
Sensitivity enhancement by shifted-echo observation.
Sensitivity enhancement by RAPT and DFS.
