Zero Waste Campaign (Cleanup Project)

The JEOL Group began a community cleanup project in 1994 to regularly clean areas around the company including employees’ commuting routes from train stations. The project, internally called "Zero Waste Campaign," is one of the voluntary community services of our employees. Volunteers have engaged in cleaning activities throughout the year, except for increment weather, every 2 months and over 130 times so far. The KF (Corporate Culture) Committee, which was established in 1985 by young employees and middle managers to enhance our corporate culture, launched this social action program, and has continued to oversee its activities for over 20 years.
