New TFH triple resonance probe

NM150002E

TFH triple resonance probe is designed for standard 2 channel spectrometer, since the high frequency double-tuned coil is dedicated for proton and fluorine.
2D 13C-19F experiment with 1H decoupling, 2D 13C-1H experiment with 19F decoupling, and 1D 13C experiment with 1H and 19F simultaneous decoupling are possible in analysis of various fluorine-containing compounds.

  • 1. Auto-tuning is default*1
  • 2. Additional attachments are not necessary for triple resonance experiments*2

*1 Auto-tuning unit is required
*2 In case of JNM-ECZ series spectrometer

In general, signal-to-noise ratio of 13C signal in highly-fluorinated compounds is often very poor despite of 1H decoupling due to the splitting caused by fluorine nuclei.
This may also result in very complicated splitting patterns and overlapping signals. If we apply simultaneuous 1H and 19F decoupling in 13C experiment, sensitivity will increase and the spectrum will be easier to analyze. This greatly helps to analyze complex fluorinated compounds.
