The 34th ISTS

The 34th ISTS International Symposium on Space Technology and Science will be held during June 3-9, 2023 in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

JEOL will be showcasing the electron beam metal AM machine “JAM-5200EBM”. Our additive manufacturing technology using electron beams has the potential to significantly reduce the cost of rocket development, manufacturing, and even fuel. It enables high quality and repeatability modeling, integration of multiple parts, reduction of fuel consumption and increase of output through weight reduction, cost reduction, and shortening of development time.

As related products, we will be introducing the technologies related to additive manufacturing including metal powders used as raw materials for additive manufacturing and the JCM-7000 NeoScope^TM benchtop scanning electron microscope used for quality control of AM product.

We will be also showcasing many AM samples. We look forward to seeing you there.
