2022 Japan International Welding Show

"2022 Japan International Welding Show", Japan's largest exhibition specializing in welding, joining and cutting technologies will be held on July 13-16, 2022.

JEOL will exhibit our electron beam metal 3D printer "JAM-5200EBM". Our electron beam additive manufacturing technology has the potential to significantly reduce rocket development and manufacturing costs and even fuel costs, enabling high-quality and reproducibility modeling, integration of multiple parts, reduction of fuel consumption and improvement of output by reducing weight, cost reduction, and shortening development time.

We will introduce other equipment related to additive manufacturing such as the JCM-7000 benchtop scanning electron microscope used for quality control of metal powders and molded products, a (TP Series RF Induction Thermal Plasma) for spheronization of fine powders and nanoparticle synthesis, and the micro CT for non-destructive 3D microstructure analysis for non-destructive observation of the entire molded product. Examples of such technologies will be also introduced. 

Moreover, we are planning to exhibit a number of molds. We look forward to seeing you.
