Transmission Electron Microscopy in Life Sciences

The course is aimed at beginners and intermediate users of transmission electron microscopes. After the course, participants will understand the principles of construction and function of transmission electron microscopes and will receive extensive practice during hands-on sessions on three transmission electron microscopes of varying complexity. The participants are encouraged to bring their own samples on 3.05 mm TEM grids for imaging. The course will be taught in English.
The course is organized by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Czechoslovak Microscopy Society at the premises of the IMG in Prague on 6th – 10th September, 2021. Favourable registration fees are set due to the support by Czech-BioImaging.
