Ink Cyro-EM observations  Cryo TEM / cooling stage / TEM / Low dose observation

Automobile, Chemistry, Plastics / Polymer, Others

This is an example of observing the raw liquid of ink-based materials using cryo-TEM with the ice-embedding method. Pigments (carbon black), fixing resins (emulsion), surfactants, and dispersants are observed. By rapidly freezing the sample using the ice-embedding method and observing it under liquid nitrogen cooling, it is possible to confirm the shape, size, and dispersion state of the components of the ink-based materials.

Application Cryo TEM / cooling stage / TEM / Low dose observation
Preprocessing TEM sampling / Plunge
Magnification ×25,000
Shooting conditions Acceleration voltage300kV、liquid N2 cooling condition、Gatan K3 camera
