JEOL has been named a recipient of this year’s 10 Best Award for Customer Satisfaction announced by VLSI Research Inc., a worldwide semiconductor industry research company in California (contact in Japan: Technologies Partners in Tokyo). JEOL ranked the top in the Small Suppliers of Wafer Processing Equipment category with the highest overall rating and the 6th in the Process Diagnostics Equipment category.

VLSI’s customer satisfaction survey, launched some 20 years ago, is the principal indicator of equipment manufacturers’ performance. The company annually distributes more than 44,000 questionnaires to process engineers of device manufacturers worldwide, asking to rate suppliers in 13 categories, including product performance (cost of ownership, software, throughput, quality, etc.) and customer support (maintenance, spares support, etc.).
