The MT-10 Award is given to the best new products and technologies in the field of microscopy. Winners are selected from a wide range of instruments including optical microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, electron microscopy, ion microscopy acoustic microscopy, microanalysis, sample preparation, etc. The participants are judged for the importance and effectiveness of their products.
The R&D 100 Awards is widely recognized as the "Oscars of Innovation" and identifies and celebrates the top high technology products of the year in the fields of sophisticated testing equipment, innovative new materials, chemistry breakthroughs, biomedical products, consumer items and high-energy physics.
The unique features of multi-touch software interface technology, adopted for the first time to electron microscopes, by which automatic and intuitive setup of various parameters are made, as well as simultaneous multiple live image, quantitative and qualitative elemental analysis, low vacuum expandability and wireless operation are highly appreciated.
